Description

Botanicare Coco Gro

Botanicare Coco Gro is effective at retaining moisture and nutrients for roots while its texture allows it to hold more oxygen, which helps prevent over and under watering. Therefore, coco coir is the ideal growing media for organic and hydro-organic applications. The media also allows for greater populations of beneficial, oxygen loving organisms and higher levels of atmospheric oxygen (O2) around the root zone. It is important to note that this increased population of soil microorganisms play a large role in higher yields by breaking down organic and mineral based matter making them available to plants.

Coco Coir is one of the most effective growing media for water retention out there. For example, it can absorb up to 10x its weight in water, meaning the roots of your plants will never get dehydrated. There’s also a lot of growing media for roots to work through, promoting healthy root development. Furthermore, coco coir is a natural waste product of the coconut growing industry and is perhaps the most versatile of all organic growing mediums. As an environmentally friendly alternative to peat moss, coco peat has a natural resistance to diseases and provides excellent water retention as well as aeration to plants.

Key Benefits:
