A Mosquito Dunk looks like a small, beige donuts which floats on standing water. As the Dunk slowly dissolves, it releases a bacterium which is toxic to all species of mosquito larvae. Each dunk kills mosquito larvae for 30 days or more. This product also contains an active ingredient called B.T.I., which is a bacterium that’s deadly to mosquito larvae, but harmless to other living things. Simply place the product in any standing water to control mosquito larvae for up to 30 days. Each Dunk treats up to 100 square feet of surface water regardless of depth. Perfect for Koi Ponds, Hydroponic systems, animal watering troughs, rain barrels, birdbaths, stock tanks, planter saucers, or any other standing water
